Para mayo del año pasado salió un artículo sobre la escalada en la isla en una revista relativamente nueva llamada Dead Point Magazine. Esta revista se distribuye gratuitamente y está dirigida a la nueva generación de escaladores que se inclina más por la escalada deportiva y el búlder.

In may of last year an article about climbing in the island came out in a relatively new magazine called Dead Point Magazine. This magazine is free and is designed for the new climbing generation who are more into sport climbing and bouldering.
A diferencia de otros artículos sobre la escalada en Puerto Rico, este mostró evidencia de búlder y psicobloc ademas de escalada deportiva en la isla. Gracias a este artículo hemos recibido la visita de escaldores de varias partes del mundo como Canada, Alemania, Turquía y diferentes partes de Estados Unidos para mencionar algunos. Tambien hemos recibido la visita de escaladores profesionales (Chris Sierzant y Lauren Lee) asi como fotografos profesionales (Tomás Donoso y Keith Ladinsky) documentando. Son artículos y visitas como estas los que nos ayudan a crear de Puerto Rico un destino para la escalada.

Unlike other articles written about climbing in Puerto Rico, this one showed evidence of bouldering and deep water solo besides sport climbing in the island. Thanks to this article we have had the visit of several climbers from various parts of the world like Canada, Germany, Turkey and different parts of the United States just to mention a few. We have also had the visit of professional climbers (Chris Sierzant and Lauren Lee) as well as professional fotographers (Tomás Donoso and Keith Ladinsky) documenting. It's articles and visits like this that help us become Puerto Rico a climbing destination.
